Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

reCatch (recatch.io) is a brand of Akers Group, LLC, an Indiana limited liability company (“Akers Group,” “we,” “us”). This policy covers our website, our emails, our free resources (the First Ten Clients guide and the reCatch Automations Kit), and our paid data services (the Visitor Pixel and Intent Audiences).

Our services are built for businesses, mainly agencies that serve local businesses. This policy explains what we do with information about the people who visit our site and buy from us. It also covers the consumers whose information appears in our data products (see section 7).

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Free resources: your first name and email address. If you claim the Automations Kit, you can also give us the email you used to sign up for HighLevel.
• Purchases: your name, business name, email, billing address and payment details. Payments are handled by our payment processor, and we don't receive or store your full card number.
• Messages: anything you send us by email or through a form.
• Setup details: the websites where you install the Visitor Pixel, and the services and areas you choose for your Intent Audiences.

Information collected automatically

• Form details: when you submit a form, we record the page you submitted it from, the time, and your approximate country, which our hosting provider supplies based on your connection.
• Link clicks: we count clicks on our HighLevel trial links as daily totals. Those counts aren't tied to you.
• Technical data: our hosting provider processes your IP address, browser type and similar data to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Information from others

• HighLevel's affiliate program may tell us basic details about accounts created through our links, such as the sign-up email and whether the account is on a paid plan. We use this to confirm Automations Kit claims and track referrals.

3. How we use it

• To send the resources you request and confirm that you're eligible for the Automations Kit.
• To provide, set up, bill and support our paid services.
• To send occasional emails about recovering leads and tools we recommend. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
• To answer your questions and send important notices about your account or these policies.
• To keep our site and services secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service.
• To understand what's working on our site and improve it.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

4. How we share it

We don't sell or rent the personal information of our site visitors or customers. We share it only:

• With service providers that work on our behalf, such as website hosting, email delivery, payment processing and workflow tools. They may use it only to provide their services to us.
• For legal reasons, when we believe it's required by law or needed to protect our rights, our customers or others.
• In a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. The information would stay subject to this policy.
• With your permission, or at your direction.

5. Cookies and third-party content

This site doesn't use analytics or advertising cookies. It loads fonts from Google Fonts and icons from Simple Icons, so your browser sends your IP address to those providers when a page loads, as it does for any content loaded from another site. Their own privacy policies apply to that data.

Because we don't track you on this site, browser “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control signals don't change how it works. To opt out of our data products, follow section 7.

6. Affiliate links

reCatch is an independent HighLevel affiliate. Some links take you to HighLevel with our affiliate code, and HighLevel's affiliate program may set its own cookies to credit the referral. Anything you do on HighLevel's site, including starting a trial, is covered by HighLevel's privacy policy, not this one.

7. Information in our data products

Our Visitor Pixel and Intent Audiences help businesses reach people who have shown interest in what those businesses offer.

What the data includes

• Contact details, such as name, email address, postal address and phone number.
• Visitor Pixel activity: which pages a person visited on a customer's website, and when.
• Interest and location signals: topics or services a person appears to be researching, and a general area such as a city or ZIP code.

Where it comes from

• Third-party data providers that license data to us.
• The Visitor Pixel, which our customers install on their own websites. Its activity data is matched with third-party data to identify visitors.

How it's used

We provide this data to our business customers so they, or the local businesses they serve, can market their products and services, for example by email, mail, phone or online advertising. Our Terms of Service require customers to follow the law, honor opt-outs, and post their own privacy notices on sites where they install the pixel. Customers may not use our data to decide anyone's eligibility for credit, employment, insurance or housing. We aren't a consumer reporting agency.

How to opt out

To opt out, email [email protected] with the subject “Opt out.” Include your name, email address and postal address so we can find your records. We'll leave you out of data we deliver in the future and pass your request to our data providers where we can. We can't pull back data a customer already received. We will stop including you in future deliveries, and our customers must honor opt-outs we pass on to them.

8. Your choices and rights

• Marketing emails: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email us.
• Access, correction and deletion: email [email protected] to ask for a copy of your information, fix it, or delete it.
• State privacy rights: depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Oregon, Texas and Virginia, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, and to access, correct or delete it. You may also have the right to opt out of its sale or its use for targeted advertising, and to appeal our decision on your request.

To use any of these rights, email us. We'll confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we'll respond within the time the law requires. An authorized agent can make a request for you if you give them written permission. We won't treat you differently for using your privacy rights. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision, and we'll tell you the outcome and how to contact your state attorney general if you disagree.

9. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. Sign-up details stay until you unsubscribe and ask us to delete them. Customer and billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting laws require. Opt-out requests are kept so we can keep honoring them.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted connections and access limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

Our site and services are for businesses. They aren't directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the effective date above, and if the changes are significant we'll tell customers by email or with a notice on the site before they take effect.
